Good morning Profitaker. Can you please expalin about the Bulldozer as I am lost. Apologies but I am a new member looking for guidance and maybe you can help me if dashing blade will not. Do you know anything about the coffee market and how I may select the best option to trade based on the current market conditions. Your help is much appreciated.

You might think this is funny posting a dead link but some of us are serious. I am going to complain about you and dashing blade and read up on what both of you have posted on T2W. Why do you mock people and mess around. Are both of you traders at all or are both of you just out to make trouble. I am now wondering if the right people have been banned on this thread.

I have complained about dashing blade and profitaker for thier rude comments. If they continue to post rude comments then I will complain again.

Can someone please help me in the selection of the best option to trade for the coffee market. With all the recent hype about commodities and China I was thinking that commodity options may be a better bet than stocks. Stocks can be very erratic and as this effects the volatility which in turns effects the option premium price I feel safer trading commodities. Any help and guidance will be great as I see we have some real good traders here. I am not worried about the money as I have plenty of it. I want to see what is the best way to do it so don't be worried if you give me some wrong advice as I am well covered.Cheers.

Derivman,

Your question is a bit too general to give you any specific advice. You haven't specified the time frame, goals or you level of experience.

For the most basic info regarding coffee futures and options visit the respective exchange.

Thank you MTE. My question may be general and I see nothing wrong with that. I would expect experienced Option traders to be able to explain a simple approach to a newbie like myself. What I am looking for is something along these lines:

a. The coffe market ic currently at the XXXXX level
b. There is major Support @ XXXXX
c. There is major Resistance @ XXXXX
d. The market may trade in the following range XXXXX for the next n period.
e. Based on these figures the following strategy would have the following risk XXX and the following potential reward XXX
f. The chances of making money with this type of strategy is XX%

Am I way off the mark here or am I missing something completely. From what I have read on other sites many experts say that Option trading is not a zero sum game. I can post the link to these educational sites for discussion if you like. Again thanks for your help.
