Write your own?

I certainly never contemplated anyone being glued to a screen 24/7 or neglecting family or crossing off whatever recreation one enjoys. Even sleep id permitted ... lol.

With all that said, the reality is that those that win at most things prioritize very well. Now, if someone tells me he will enjoy the programming and that is how he gets his kicks then start today.

I, and I suspect the others who commented in the same fashion, were expressing that setting the right priorities would dictate not spending the time to do the project.

Shock horror, I also read books, and spend time with my family! Crazy, isn't it? But then I sometimes have a thing called spare time.

Omigosh...unless you are sadistic or have really super-specialized trading requirements, why on earth would you create a trading PLATFORM from scratch when there are so many API's and programmable platforms out there already ?
You trying to recreate Bloomberg or what ? I don't quite "get it" ?
