The initial "ramp" was 14 handles in 8 minutes . . . The second "ramp" was 10 handles in 4 minutes . . . the third "ramp" was 12 handles in 15 minutes.

How could anyone not love these moves!!!
Longhorns must be killing 'em today!

if this rally has a pullback to say 50% later cos of heavy shorting better all long cos Bear S will send out a spokesman to say rumours today are false and they are fine. which will rally the market hard again.

Why is this is a surprise? The bull market which began on october 2002 technically hasn't ended. The sp00z didnt close below 1252.
In the past five months, the S&P 500 has lost 1/3 of the gains it made during the prior five year period. Regardless of the label placed on that decline, it is an attention grabber.

I know that there aren't many guys that trade "technically" on ET and prefer to spend most of their day starting posts with "cut and paste" articles . . . but the move down off the highs in the ES from 12 Noon was a thing of MEASURED-MOVE beauty!

8 handles down to 1302.
Small retracement back up to just over 1306.
Then another 8 handles down to finish the "measured-move".
Buy Them for a 10 point pop back up!

Bingo.

That isn;t unusual. Markets don't go up in a strait line.

RUSSEL 2000 IS TOTALLY IN THE SPOTLIGHT TODAY, NICE TO SEE IT UP 8 POINTS COMPARED TO THE 2 POINT LOSS IN NDX
