the company has a name but its useless due to the fact that all korean stocks trade on a six digit number. Why wouldnt tell you the name if i knew it? My brokerage fees are relatively cheap. Im not sure exactly how much but i do know a purchase of 1000 stocks is and im not kidding 2.50$.

Typically brokers charge in basis points for Korea since that's what the exchange charges in.. so the volume doesn't matter so much as the notional value of the trade. Sometimes there's a ticket fee or minimum charge too..
This is the case for most Asian stock markets, the BP type fee structure that is, as they don't typically operate the maker-taker model we know in the US and Canada.

The reason why I mentioned the name issue if because had you stated the name...someone could then verify what you said that there was no news event.
Anyways, I already know the name of the stock and there was several news events. Those news events are via the name of the stock and not via the number of the stock in your broker platform.
