Would you rather open a trading account in USD or AUD?

I'm planning to open a trading account for investing in commodities and with time, when more experienced, starting trading.
Currently living in Australia and wondering if is better opening an account is USD or AUD currency.

What do you think about?

Shouldn't matter. If you live in Australia you spend in AUD and have currency risk either way if most of your investments are in USD. Just use a broker with institutional spreads to convert so you don't lose on your FX conversions and hedging.
