Would you buy this?

That looks like a table we used for coloring books back in Kindergarten in the 70’s.
If someone famous spilled their Elmer’s glue on the counter it would probably be worth 90k!
If it was someone famous they probably sniffed the glue

The most I would spend on a chair is $2K -- anything above that is just completely, utterly insane...and the manufactures are taking you for a fool. -- and probably laughing at you behind your back. o_O, ;)

My head and brain feels like a mini-cyclone right now...i just gulped down a glass of chardonnay.

I looked him up.

George Katsutoshi Nakashima was an American woodworker, architect, and furniture maker who was one of the leading innovators of 20th century furniture design and a father of the American craft movement.Wikipedia
Born: May 24, 1905, Spokane, WA
Died: June 15, 1990, New Hope, PA

What's the problem? He's dead and it appears the furniture sells due to it's artistic value. Would you buy a Picasso painting for $1 million? Some people would.
