Would these idiot ranchers shut up? What an annoying bunch!

So let me get this straight, these morons get into an armed standoff with the federal government, then act surprised when they get shot?

Yes, as far as I know, there was no problem with the Bureau of Land Management until these nutcases started protesting.

They should have hired lawyers and made their case through the courts and the press.
Yes, Have a problem with the government? Just call Saul.
Can't afford Saul? Just grab a gun.
What difference does it make? Either way you are going to die.

Late thinkers. They don't think about things until it affects them, and then there is nothing to do about it.

Early thinkers get involved in the government, and that takes time and sacrifice. And when it comes to sacrifice, most just sell out.

Didn't we already go through this in 1776?

1776 was about taxation without REPRESENTATION.

We now get to vote for politicians who decide federal laws and policies. If you don't like what they do then vote the clowns out of office.

If you don't like it, become the clown. Everybody wants to vote. That is easy. I'm pretty selfish, but every two years I drive 2.3 miles to my local middle school and sacrifice an hour (or less) to vote. The Founding Fathers didn't just simply vote every two years. They really sacrificed.

Everybody wants something, but very few are willing to give up something to get something.

I agree with the original poster here. If you intend on getting involved in an armed stand off with the feds, you better have a good life insurance policy. It is kind of ironic how some of the same people who are defending the ranchers right to take up arms against the feds will in the same breath defend the inner city cops having to deal with the thugs. I also find it interesting how some of my liberal friends will take issue with the rancher getting shot by the feds in that he really got what he deserved while still chanting the "arms up, don't shoot" bs perpetrated by the Michael Brown race baiters.

Bottom line....you threaten the law and you are not likely to have a good day.

you threaten a rancher who started with nothing but bare land and created an environment where cattle could thrive profitably (in the good years) and passed that ranch down to his kids and grandkids, you are not likely to have a good day.

Well when that clown went for his gun how did it turn out?

We are a nation of laws and I am sick and tired of every shithead saying they were wronged in some way so they feel they can do whatever they want.

As far as you know, from your apartment in the city, there was no problem with the Bureau of Land Management until these nutcases started protesting.

There, fixed it for ya.
