M mahram Nov 20, 2009 #1 i was wondering if the tax on trading would effect non-americans. Im canadian, would we be exempt on the trading tax. Since we have a tax treaty with the states, wouldnt this get really murky.

R risktaker Nov 20, 2009 #2 It's a transaction tax dude, not a tax on profits. Unless you got soome connections with Goldman, why would you be exempt?
