would love to know how the average TastyTrader has done in this

I've been munching on pop-corn whilst enjoying this battle. I have no connection to Tastytrade, I cannot use ToS as I'm based in the UK, but have watched a lot of their videos, which I find very informative. That Pete Mulmat guy who talks futures is simply amazing, and as previously mentioned, I find that girl who talks futures with him, a real turn-on. But that's another story.
I don't trade their strategies, as I don't do much short selling these days, but if I DID do short selling, then I would probably follow their system.

So, I'm fairly objective in terms of my views regards Sosnoff.

I won't go into the good/bad points about their network as many posters have already done that very well in this thread. For me, as a neutral, it's been very beneficial.

The point I want to make - esp to .sigma, is this - as you've noticed, there are a lot of haters on this forum. It's like a bunch of average looking teenage girls in a room who get all cat-ty and bitchy when a more attractive girl walks in. Anyone who is a success and not part of the clique is branded a fake, fraud, liar, scammer. This means sensible and mature debate often goes out of the window. Ego and sensitivity reign supreme.

When in a mischievous mood, a part of me wants to start a thread entitled "Why is Kim Klaiman so successful?" and just sit back and watch the bitches come out.

(PS - backstory - there's a thread here where a bunch of regulars hounded him like a pack of hyenas and got him banned!)

You are just like the Tesla fans. Oh, Tom/Elon did so much for the industry, he is beyond criticism! Why do you guys hate successful people? He just wants to make the world a better place.

Take criticism like the Brazilians the virus, like a fucking man.

Be a fucking man and quote my whole post. The meat is from the 2nd sentence on. Do you study for the exams by just looking at the cover of your textbook?

Stop crying and playing the victim. Typical cult member behavior. We are not criticizing his platform making or market making ability or business acumen. We are pointing out that he can't teach profitable options trading.

Now be a man and take it.

They tried that in the beginning, I believe.

I think there was an app where for a fee you could follow their live option trades. I don't know if it still exists, but if not, that explains a lot.

Bro! Pete is the fvxkin man, I've learned so much knowledge and wisdom from that man.

I feel like some how the haters in this thread will find some way to hate on Pete, smh

Probably for crowd funding? They were initially a small start up. Then grew steadily. Tastytrade is the media, tastyworks is the software, dough is the financial media app, the small exchange is a freekin exchange, the quiet foundation (not sure what this is) etc etc.. this is a nice little empire.

Does he make money?

I know he comes from money.

Tom has said he has never lost as much money as in this down move.

That's the point.
@DTB2, I haven't watch tasty since 2015 because I just didn't like the style of the show.

That is the point. Sounds like he is a very honest man! My view of him has just gone up a notch. I lost a ton in the last month too. :banghead:

Hat off to those of you who made a killing in this market. I wish I know how to trade this market. :(

Yessir, look qaz, I met Tom years ago at his new studio. It was a great experience. Their studio is top tier and I even got to see their research from the data guys. Tom was very nice to me and Tony was especially friendly and sat me down and spit some financial game to me.

That same day I had lunch with Al Sherbin above the CBOE. At this time he just departed from tastytrade, and I asked him how was it working with them? He had nothing but positive energy to tell about Tom and Tony and the team. Mind you, Sherbin was the original creator a lot of the market measure, best practice etc content. Also Sherbin published a book a few years back, you should get it, very informative.

After I met Sherbin, Andrew Keene invited me to his office a few blocks away. I got to see Mr. Keene trade options intraday using order flow and other things that at the time was over my head (I was 24 at the time). I also asked Andrew about Tom and tastytrade since I was just there and was curious of his thoughts since Keene trades entirely different than Tom. Andrew had nothing but good words for tastytrade. He said he respects Tom's hustle.

So when I see some of u guys being so critical of shit that really doesn't matter (like Tom's P/L) I just laugh. No matter what, people will find some shit to mope about and ignore the insurmountable other side of that person that delivered so much to the game it makes you look like a pebble in a pond.

Cheers :)
You must be a professional.
