Would like to know why my thread, jc trading has a 500.00 per month fee! was deleted

Hello,

I would like to know why the thread was deleted. This was something that I felt needed to be documented so traders can be aware.

Cheers!

Because they just sent me an email saying that the basis of the thread is completely untrue. They specifically said that they do not charge anyone a monthly fee on top of commissions.

You should focus more on hitting higher than .238 this year :)

It was not untrue so it's their word against mine I guess, why would I make something like this up? I was searching for a reputable prop firm and I got some pm's recommending them, I read their reviews so I called and that is what the rep who answered the phone told me. If they'd like to trace it it was on 1/27 right around 9:00 a.m. eastern.

when in doubt, go to the source:

John,

Thank you for your interest in JC Trading Group. We have never charged a
trader a monthly fee on top of commissions. If you can tell me more
about your trading, I can get you out a proposal. How long have you been
trading? How many shares do you trade per month? What's your average
ticket size? Where are you currently trading? What type of buying power
do you require? If you have a couple months blotters that would really
help. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank You,

Jeff Goldman

Good Day,

I have an interest in your firm based on your reputation on a few
message boards and the fact that you offer trading thru a few different
platforms.

But I have a question: someone recently raised an issue with your firm
that less active traders (<250k a month) have an added fee charged of
$500. I have never heard of such a thing from a prop. I understand a
higher commission for a less active trader, but an added fee?

Can you confirm this as fact or deny the allegation as bs?

Thank You

John
