To answer your question, I left because America is terminally ill - I knew it, a few others knew it but the majority are in denial. Unlike you, I know I can't do anything about it. But I didn't want to go down with the ship, one that was already 1/4th submerged in the early 2000s, then 1\2 submerged by 2006 when Housing crash got underway, then the toilets got all plugged up in 2008 and the stink reached high heaven - but the clowns call it a recovery.

Its like Jim Morrison said, "the whole sh*thouse is going to go up in flames. I, AfterLOS, don't give a rat's ass no more!

Blaming Obama or Bush or anyone else is a total waste of time and a huge error. These problems are huge and they've been gathering momentum for aeons. The insatiable appetite for debt was born centuries before Obama. Its an American disease, China is the cure :):):) She be gaining fast and she's hungry and getting bolder all the time.

Get out while you can and start a life elsewhere. That SHIP called America is on its last legs.

If China don't finish her off, Secession surely will within the next 1-5 years.

Secession is the one non-war escape hatch.

In my line of work on the ground ET is akin to going to Sales Convention at the Bonaventure Hotel with 20,000 registered sales professionals registered to show up and attend and share information and closing tactics and tips and tricks for lead making etc.,

and then I find out that not a single one of the attendees has made any sale at all but come across as if they've made 'em with their eyes closed.

Its like someone said to me recently right here at ET, "hahahha you came here to see how Elitists trade?"

I'm the sucker. But hey, I don't mind. Now you understand, Handle123 why I'd rather take my medicine in one month than drag it on for 10 years and become part of the furniture here? That would be be certain DEATH = end up in the Politics forum :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Trader\Investor = person with skill\knowledge + comp. + Internet connection + brokerage account.

Handle123, in case you think AfterLOS is the only one who thinks this way, you be wrong. The latest bullmarket gaining steam, albeit yet in its infancy (unlike the one in Food Stamps = 50 million Americans) is the Renunciation of American citizenship

For the record, AfterLOS not even remotely interested in relinquishing citizenship, but when Secession hits, going to stay with my beloved California regardless how broke she be. That's just the way it is.
