It's this simple: you either know proper English or you don't. If English is not your native language, then allowances can be made. However, if English is your native language and you attended elementary school, then there is no excuse for repeatedly perpetrating errors in basic spelling and grammar. To think otherwise is to have no standards.

Pretty slow, figured I would tune in to the we can't survive without the love for each other thread, politics and religion. Pretty normal, grammar nazi stuff. I do find humor, even though I'm not a big Obama fan, in trying to compare the Bush or Obama levels of communication. You can certainly make some good arguments in Mr. Bush's favor, but communication with the camera is one better left alone.

And, I still don't get the teleprompter/talking point relevance. How is rattling through pre-printed papers and being forced to turn away from your audience, as has been done forever, possibly any better than facing the camera as every newscaster does? doesn't change the message, just the focus, and probably saves us all a lot of time.

Thanks for keeping up the comedy threads all you libtards, neocons, obongos, and nazis. I know you're all just love birds.
