Nope, he has absolutely no intention of fleeing Egypt. To the Arab man, personal <b>honor</b> comes first, everything else is secondary.
Hosni Mubarek was a military man and knows a thing or two about other wrong deeds like corruption by Generals and other senior staff in the Egyptian military. This heart attack is just a combined agreement between him and the military in power. If he is pushed too hard, then he has the ability to speak his mind and bring other 'birds in power' down on the ground.

I think those sons are in a serious situation.
Any time you hear that phrase "it's just for a little while" (15 days in jail in this case), you should be worried.
