World's biggest sovereign fund losses $21 billion in the first quarter

First quarter is not over yet and I though first quarter in 2019 so far was wonderful for stock markets. IS there a typo? Is it last quarter of 2018 as that was terrible for global stocks?
%% Dont know. But having made much of thier money in oil+ investments; maybe they should buy some more oil stocks, since they have done so well, in that sector ?? Paris agreement ??LOL-LOL:D:D Also, the writer should have used % measure, instead of trying a price shock headline.

Norwegian Wealth

The former CEO of the world's biggest sovereign wealth fund—Norway's $1 trillion oil fund—has broken a decade's silence to criticize the fund's current management. Knut Kjaer joins others who have criticized what they see as increasing politicization of the fund, and the decision to keep basing it within the country's central bank, rather than in a separate organization. Socialists in power always get greedy. Look no further then Venezuela. Venezuela had a stable currency for over 100 years.. It was a rich country endowed with lots of oil. Then the common people got greedy. They voted for socialism light and EQUALITY.REGULATIONS ENSUED. tHEN SHORTAGES ENSUED. THEN MORE REGULATIONS AND SCARTIES RESULTED. Then full blown socialism under DICTATORS Chavez and Maduro. The result is inflation at a rate of one million percent+ per year. yes, people are equal. they are equally poor and starving except for the military and friends of the gov't
Don't fool yourself.

The same thing could happen in the US. Millennials are socialists in one way or another.
