worldco vs. generic

Generic is a good firm, been around a long time. They have gone to the "dark side" somewhat with these "sub-llc's" (avoid if at all possible). Ron Sheer (the owner) is a smart businessman, and I have never heard any "dirt" on them in the past. The pricing has always been a bit high.....so, for what it's worth: good firm, a bit high, and only big negative is if you get involved in a "sub llc."

Good Luck!!

100k in two positions....guess he was an overnighter. All depends on size. Hey, it was only about 3 months ago if I remember right that SEPR opened down 27 pts. 5 of 9 guys in my room had it long. Two of them had at least 4k shares....so there you go for 100k. Don't know how I missed that one. Just luck...didn't hear it get called out. Maybe went to take a leak at the time. Don't think luck doesn't come into play!!!

Phone.com merged with some other dotcom...I can't even remember who, and a quick google search turns up nothing (was it a bad dream?) He went short alot of both (it was pretty good strategy in those multibillion dollar stock deals -- usually, but not this time) the whole thing took less than 15 minutes im sure...

Ouch, that SEPR. Too risky for moi.

Is this what you mean, Volume?
