World War 3 is it coming?

:eek: Oh my! I hope this time wouldn't come. World war is the major war between countries. Weapons, bombs, missiles, may surround everywhere. I just hope that people behind this kind of issues would think before they plan this kind of disastrous issue. Many people who are innocent will get involved, and die. The population may decrease. I know, they are fighting for something, but they should think first. They can even talk with each other regarding their problem, without doing this kind of issue. Many people would be threatened. We should have peace in our world, because God, never intended the world to be at its worst. Everything worst that;s happening in the world, is people's fault. They should know how to care of the world and even other people, because we are all the servant of God and we are all created as one. All people must be united. No to war!!!!:cool:

Killing each Taliban soldier costs $50 Million

Killing 20 Taliban costs $1 Billion / Killing all the Taliban would cost $1.7 Trillion.

The Pentagon will not tell the public what it costs to locate, target and kill a single Taliban soldier because the price-tag is so scandalously high that it makes the Taliban appear to be Super-Soldiers. As set out in this article, the estimated cost to kill each Taliban is as high as $100 million, with a conservative estimate being $50 million. A public discussion should be taking place in the United States regarding whether the Taliban have become too expensive an enemy to defeat.

The cost of a gallon of fuel/gas delivered to USA units in Afghanistan has risen to $800. Eighty percent of the supplies of the US-led forces in Afghanistan come up this long, difficult route. Along the way, the USA pays large bribes to Pakistani officials, local warlords, and to Taliban.
 
It's a pretty messed up situation. Originally this mess was informally called the war on oil as the first thing US troops did is secure the oil cells in Afghanistan. Not everyone knows that the reason anyone would want to go after that oil is because the oil in the Middle East is the best in the world. We could drill in Alaska, but that oil is crap. There will be lots of production costs involved there for sure. Let alone the risk of having high dollar machinery working in intense cold climates during the dark Alaskan winters.

Anyway, WWII was different for a fundamental reason. The reason it won't work the same today is because first of all we are in a war and the problem has worsened and second of all you can't fund a war without tax revenue. What did Bush do? Cut taxes and raised government spending immensely. That's just a recipe for disaster.
