So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in farsi: "Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

Can someone here who speaks the language, translate this so this issue can be put to rest eitherway?
Is it the correct translation, or typical media exaggerations?

There is debate over the actual, exact, literal translation of the speech. However, I think everyone can agree that the comment made was a hostile one toward Israel, whether he specifically said "wipe them off the map" or not.

All uranium reactors produce some Pu 239 along with with unburned fuel, other isotopes of Pu, other actinides, fission products etc in the spent fuel. But to make a bomb, you need to separate the Pu 239 out by reprocessing to quite a high level of purity. This is not a trivial matter and Iran does not have the means to do it. In any case Russia is taking back the spent fuel.

Actually, the situation is probably even more difficult for would be bomb makers because of the presence of Pu 240 in the spent fuel:

If you want to make Pu 239 for a bomb, then there are much, much easier ways than jumping through these hoops.

The whole point of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is that signatories have the right to any and all peaceful uses of nuclear energy if they agree to forgo the making of weapons. If signatories rights are be arbitrarily removed, then the whole point of the NPT is undermined.

Any any case, it's really a bit rich for Israel which hasn't signed the NPT and does have nuclear weapons preparing for an attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities when Iran has signed the NPT.

Sorry, WW2 didn't get us out of the mess. It was ma and pop shops that did the hiring that get us out.

Yes, we do get more people employee, because a lot of the boys and men were sent to war. But we didn't produce anything. If wars build economy, why did Roman, the Spanish, the English got doomed?

The global world is connected, and intraconnected. The idea of a "Great World War" is that of history only. There will be conflict and wars, like Iraq. But a world war...NOT!

Bottom line is, 3rd world nations are tasting Wealth and Industry.
They will not want to sacrafice their Industry and Wealth...to go to war unless ...they are attacked.

Iraq is a year away from Nukes. But Israel and the Weak USA has not attacked. Why? Because OBAMA is the Norm of the world leaders. Most leaders think like Obama.

We will have world government...before a World War.

Cyber attack is a farce.... Most plants aren't even connected to the general internet.. Just more BS to keep the masses scared so they can give up more rights. Just look at the names behind the cyber security bills.... Bucn of BS.
