Words of Wisdom

Quote from duard:

The market usually moves farther than one anticipates.

Corollary: Don't be too quick to take profits.

2nd Corollary: Don't be too slow to cut your losses.

just a thought on how far we have come and have not...:D

This year we see the "bellwether Stock" of GM fall from grace and the rise of this thing called GOOGLE.....:D

John Wayne is no longer with us, but if you like there are plenty of those old cowboy movies of his around. Wonder what he would say if they asked him to be in a cowboy movie called "Brokeback Mountain"? Is this what can be called the new "cowpoke" type movie?...............rest in peace John, you are missing nothing.....

Quote from popesidious:

This one was said to me by an old trader:

"I don't look at charts, I make them."

This is one of my favorites:

"Is better to have a bad plan that not to have one."

Speaking of old traders,

There are old traders
There are bold traders
There are no old bold traders

Yes he is, a whole lotta BS.

A whole lotta stocks jump up every morning and then fall back after a few minutes. After that, who knows what the hell they will do. Trade those first few minutes and then quit.

I've tried prayer too, but God doesn't make a lot of deals with Traders.

Courage is doing what you are afraid to do.

There is no courage if you are scared.

Courage comes from confidence and the school of hard knocks.

Confidence comes from experience.

Courage in yourself and confidence in your game gives you what is required to pull the trigger once the trade sets up.........
