Is +25pts ER contract per month, +6pts per week, +1.5pts daily supposed to be something monumental to achieve?
Quote from CFerret:
Exactly! Plus one more very important point: liquidity. Using his approach if he starts to trade too big, slippage will eat him alive. Everyone who intraday trades futures like ER2 know that it's impossible to grow fast and trade the same way with the same % profits as when you trade small.
So the only way to grow is to switch to larger timeframes what will of course reduce profitability in % simply because there are much less trades. And since % of profit will reduce, many other systems much more suitable for hedge funds (something really hedged and not as exposed to directional risk, for example) come on mind.
And after all +1.5pt a day is not a miracle anyway. As far as I know, NihabaAshi for example makes significantly more and posts results on his site.
Best wishes

Being net profitable in any symbol for any amount is an acheivement in itself. Not to diminish that feat in the least. However, netting +1.5pt daily average in ER for skilled, experienced, professional traders doesn't seem to be a monumental event.
