I heard a critique one maybe two days ago. Dems still offer "hope" via the old tired "shining city upon a Hill/American Dream" BS...you know, a positive if cynical message. Cons have nothing but hate and aggrievement culture war politics. Even MAGA still had tinges of "improving things" even if it was on the bodies of others.

True in both West Virginia and Florida...both states lead the country for incest and sexual misconduct against minors.

Ironically, both have governors (Ron DeSantis of Florida and Jim Justice of West Virginia) talking the big talk about protecting children in their states. In reality, the statistics factually show a different picture is occurring in those two states that are being managed by two Republican governors.
