OK. But what to do about it? Better informed voters perhaps? I can't see how abandoning public education in the red states is helping much. Headstart is constantly under funded and under attack. So are our primary and secondary schools in most Red States. The Republican idea of education seems to be job training. But job training and education are two different things. We need both, not job training in lieu of education. . .
