Wolfram Alpha to surpass Google in effectiveness - coming later this Spring

Sounds promising, but still in its infancy. I asked it " 3 standards deviations includes what % " and it couldn't understand it? From watching his video I think the question was clear?

I would guess the folks over at Google are laughing their asses off.

Let's not forget almost all early inventions were laughed off by the public.

It is not very functional at all.

I am asking some fairly basic questions and keep getting 'Wolfram|Alpha isn't sure what to do with your input' as a response.

Me too.

I was not impressed. They should have done more beta testing before rolling this out to the masses. It still needs a LOT of work to make it more functional for the end user.

Remember the hype surrounding segway? It used to be called "the it" leading up to its introduction. It was supposed to revolutionize urban commute. Did it? NO. Not everything is destined for greatness.
