Without a Reagan Revolution turnout on Nov 8, we're done.

So you nominate a guy who is un-electable, then worry about winning. Thats rich.

This election is such a blown opportunity. After the Obama debacle and the fact that Hillary Clinton is such a weak candidate, this should have been a slam dunk election for republicans.

Don't worry about it though, Ann Coulter said that Trump was going to win all these states that Republicans haven't won in generations.

What makes you think Cruz or Carson would have sewn up the General, when they couldn't even win middle America in the primary? Your logic is deeply flawed. Trump has always been our best shot. Look at the map. Who could sweep the map. You tell me. We're dealing with something much larger then Trump. We're dealing with a nation addicted to handouts and freebies.

First honest post of you on this website ever.

Bravo and I congratulate you. You have done good to yourself.

Look at the margins Democrats won the general with, the last 25 years. >100 electoral votes. GW eeked it out once, and won another by "a landslide" of 34 Ev's. Joe Scarborough always drives that point home. It's so hard for Republicans to win the White House now because the Democrats start with such a huge lead. If you play with the electoral map, Democrats just have to win a few more states out ~20 or so, that are up for grabs.

We could be done for. If the country is too far left now, the ship might just go over. Reagan basically ran the board. He won nearly every single state. Trump has to do the same. It doesn't look good to me.. Realistically, what are our chances?

So basically farmers and KKK red.

Clinton 347 Trump 191

2016 probably ends up looking like that.

Agree plus the fact that the US is the least free democracy given over 1% of all its citizens being incarcerated as we speak, more than any other democracy in the world.

You can influence down ballot issues maybe. Where I live, that would be my only reason for voting, if I decide to vote. I am not one of those naive believer in the virtues of democracy, but I do chuckle when I hear Washington politicians refer to the U.S. as a "democracy."

Doesn't that start with all the Midwest farmers who suck up to Republicans for farming subsidies and protectionism, protectionism that makes food products much more expensive to the American consumer. So much to handouts...

Agreed. Most Libertarians and fiscal conservatives want a drastic reduction in the size of Government. Trump ran on smaller government platform, ending the subsidies, handouts and corruption.

One of the most corrupt and unethical guys and one who has abused subsidies in his business to the limit and lobbied as if there is no tomorrow wants to end subsidies and corruption? Awesome. Clinton is not any better, yes, I know and agree.

The only case in my book that can be made for Trump is the belief that the US will hit the wall and will push a total and absolute reset button much earlier with Trump and after everyone realizes that Trump is a solution to nothing. Only after that the hope is that people realize something groundbreaking has to change. That is the only valid rational imho. All else are lies or stupidity on the voters' side. Such re-think may take longer with Clinton in power.

This is what's coming. The wave has been compressed forcing it's magnitude to extremes. America, along with Europe is headed for a huge reset. What's unknown is when. A Trump win will force it faster than Clinton. May as well get it over with sooner than later as it's inevitable.

that, I believe, is the only honest rational for anyone to support Trump, all else seems masochism.
