Wisconsin Assembly passes labor bill

Quote from chartman:

I believe you have mis-named this thread. It should have been:
Wisconsin Assembly passes ANTI-LABOR bill. Or better still:
Wisconsin Assembly passes ANTI-Worker bill.

You talk like a Communist... ON IGNORE!

Oh please. The union thugs and entitled "public servants" with obese benefits who bleed taxpayers dry are about as far from being oppressed workers as you are from grasping reality.

You are stupid! I am a decorated Vietnam war veteran who fought for your right to spew your nonsense. I am a life member of the VFW and DAV still involved in trying to protect freedom and the right of ever American to freely express his opinion. Also the right to collectively organize to seek redress of grievances and be able to negotiate. I consider it an honor to be placed on your ignore list.

I would suggest that you reread my posting. I said nothing about public employees being 'oppressed'. My comment was that the bill passed in Wisconsin was ANTI-UNION. In my opinion, all employees, whether public or private, should have the right to collectively bargaining. I have a problem with public employees having the right to strike. Any unresolved disagreements should be subject to binding arbritation. Without a legal right to redress grievances and negotiate, then workers are, as you stated, oppressed.

I would suggest that you remove your head from your ass. What you wrote implied oppression and your exact words were "ANTI-LABOR... Or better still... ANTI-Worker" not "ANTI-UNION."
