well, that's how the Faulklands War started. A tit for a tat. But like most conspiracy theories, they never ask "why". They just always assume someone is out to get them. Very common among communists, catholics, and democrats (and those suffering from paranoia.)

Those of us that are baby boomers grew up in a golden age that was for the most part war free. But when you watch the news everyday, it becomes apparent that war is normal and peace is extremely rare.
