I searched the www for a while and find little clue on this topic.

What is exactly a winros data mangement interface? Are the input/output/both vendor dependent? Are there any detailed specifications?

I am particularly interested in how omega (global)server and metastock retrieve data from winros.

Thank you very much for the reference. But I still see no programming details on winros. What protocol it uses to supply data? It seems the data are not transferred through DDE/socket to the client? for example, how does globalserver read data from a DBC winros?

For example, Tradestation globalserver talks to a DBC Signal/eSignal winros through TCP:2189. But how? Is the protocol proprietary? Please give some insight. Thanks
