Where did you ever get THAT notion?
You probably process only about 4G of real-time data per month. Even a low-end video card can handle that much in a SECOND. [/QUOTE
Maybe I am wrong. I spent quite a bit of money on what I was told was a heavy duty video card along with a monster computer.
Do you have a suggestion, I spare no expense.

Unfortunately you were given false information by someone who wanted to sell you something.
You can use just about any video card. But for workstation type applications like trading, passively cooled is the better way to to.
The two major players in the "multi-monitor, multi-video card" market are Nvidia Quadro NVS and Matrox.
Lots of us on ET use Quadro NVS 290 cards. They are perfect for monitors up to 28".
Again unfortunately, you were probably oversold on the concept of a "monster computer". Most trading apps run almost 100% out of RAM. Therefore the only times the CPU is utilized is to boot, shutdown, open and close apps.
There are a few exceptions, and if they apply to you they would be revealed in your Windows Task Manager.
A really good trading computer need cost no more than $600-$1,000... + monitors. Of course, you can also spend that kind of money on a not-so-good computer if your knowledge is lacking.
