Will you stay with Cyber/Schwab if they only offer per trade pricing?

AAA...you have been a guiding light through this clusterf*%k. Thanks. I will only add:

1) The 4 message boxes I have to click through just to cancel an order is really getting on my nerves. If your fukking lawyers insist on telling me the patently obvious 4 times over at least make the message boxes highlighted by default so I can quickly hit enter through them instead of mousing around for 5 valuable seconds.

2) Bring back flyonthewall

Apparently this is correct. You do not get use of your funds if they are in the sweep mm account. It is still not clear to me what you have to do if you want to go full overnight margin. I think you have to call them up and get them to free up the funds.

I never thought I would hold Penson up as an example of efficiency, but they make this Schwab mess look like something from the quill pen era.

I was told by a rep that the Schwab bigwigs are reading the enhancements emails, so maybe there is hope..

Can't you avoid the message boxes by disabling the confirmation box? I don't get them, just hit cancel and it's gone. One of the few things that works properly.

Turning off the confirms is one of the first things I did. Looks like it happens when going short. Say I delta in a penny below the offer, then pull it and all the messages pop up.
 
You guys are concerned about the platform?

They could give you back CT Pro and you would still get killed by UBSS. Schwab should let you trade for free, with UBSS they will still clean up. Ameritrade is a better deal lol.

I haven't been in that situation yet. Maybe I will tomorrow. I'm wondering if having to go through their MM for shorts is such a big deal or not. I bought some stock this morning and by mistake used Cyberexchange direct. My limit order popped up immediately on Lev II. Maybe they take longer with shorts.
 
You guys should be getting less DTBP and overnight BP with Schwab.Their maintenance requirements for longs is 30% as against the 25% which is the industry norm.
 
I've trading with CT since they were Cybercorp it seems to me other than being a bit cumbersome the issues could be worked out if :

1- Fix the extended hours trading issues , no gaps what's that all about .

2- clean up the mess re real time profit/loss and eliminate all this unneeded info in the account window e.g. unsettled trades

3- Do something about the shorting issue its just silly as is

otherwise traders will slowly .... maybe not so slowly move their accounts , I'm willing to give it a bit of time but no fixes for the above and its outta here for me.

I think this ridiculous process of having to call them to free up mm reserves for daily BP has to be changed.
 
ive liquidated most of my account but am still not sure where to go.

options/stocks/futures in order of importance.

i used TOS and just didnt like the interface

any ideas?
