I was just reviewing the mailing from CT regarding the integration. Something to the effect that the Schwab platform does not offer all the venues CT users are used to but that it has smart routing capabilites. I interpret this to mean that it won't be a true direct access platform, that you will have the option of going through their MM or use the smart routing. How dumb do they think we are? Obviously , this is totally unacceptable to virtually every current Cyber customer.
I would have hoped we could have gotten this cleared up by now, since they obviously had this information for long enough to produce a printed flier and mail it to existing customers. So I would ask Cyber Rep if he is still around to address this issue urgently.
If the Schwab platform will not be a true direct access platform, how about stop diddling us around and spell it out? If we won't be able to short ETF's, like OIH, let us know now so we can make plans and negotiate deals elsewhere. Enough screwing us around.
I don't know what planet these morons are on, but if they wanted to alienate their existing customers to the max, they are succeeding brilliantly. The ironic thing is that every CT user has dozens of friends and family members who know they are a real trader and who will automatically go to them for advice on which broker to use. After this debacle, I doubt many will say use Schwab.
