But your answer does project your confidence level in the markets going forward, in addition to your confidence level in your own abilities.

no doubt. this month has been one of my best ever, after a dull and horrendous 4months. gave up daytrading and now mostly swing, up 8% only on c in the past 4weeks.

BT - I just started trading in late June. I'm up 37% since then.

I only swing trade (I've day traded maybe 5 days in those 6 months).

My fear is that it looks all too easy to me now, given I've never experienced a downturn or bear market.
 
I had a mediocre month this month... Nov was much much better for me. But that's because I decided I needed more gold, and it's had a crappy month.

Will 2007 be better? That's hard to say, and I don't like predicting months ahead of time. I don't think we'll have a recession tho.
