Tim, I bet you wish you could suck your own dick. You would never leave the house.

Who cares about leaving the house--I've lived enough over the past few years, now it's time for some good old fashioned hard work

Tim, since completing the book does your Funds losing long position in Cygnus E Transactions (CYGT) still account for your poor performance?

Don't refer us to your book. Need to know about why you still lose money AFTER book completion.

Seems like the bleeding from that one very bad trade should be over now?

Dude, stop making me repeat myself---I can't talk fund details...yet.

Considering I've pre-sold about 1,000 books and it only takes 7,000 or so to be deemed a "Bestseller", I'd say I'm on my way.

Let me get this straight, I can write a book, buy 7,000 copies of it and it will be considered a "best-seller" ?? Do you know how dumb this sounds ?

So go buy 7,000 copies of your own book tim, and you'll have a "best-seller". LMAO.

"money talks and TS walks".

Yeah man, whatever floats your boat. I didn't make the rules, that's just publishing for ya. I could care less about being a bestseller, it's just a popular term for authors and their egos. I won't be satisfied until I sell 100,000 copies--it'll be interesting to see how long it's gonna take me.

authors purchase their own books all the time, and do other tricks to get on the NY Times bestseller list among others.

i see your knowledge of the publishing business is also lacking.....

Show me where that's a publishing rule nerd boy. Show me where it says you can buy 7,000 copies of your own book and it will be a "best seller". You too surfer..

I'm sure the Clintons got to be "best-sellers" by selling ONLY 7,000 copies. ROFL.

You never answered the question: how few copies sold will it take for you to admit you failed?

Do your own DD into what makes a bestseller I don't care. Also, learn to read, I said if I sell anything less than 100,000 copies, I'll be disappointed. but a failure, there's no such thing because I've already learned a ton of lessons and it's been worthwhile. Unfortunately, since you're such a negative person, you won't be able to understand that point--sorry man--seriously, maybe you just need to pay more for a better therapist

Quote from TimothySykes:

Please, nobody's heard the whole story yet. Like a few others on this site, you can't seem to understand that I'm not trying to sell you on a strategy or on my fund. No, I'm sharing my experiences, both good and bad, just to get everything out there to help people better understand trading and hedge funds.

Can't wait for you to read a free chapter or two that I'll be posting in a few days and see what I'm talking about.

If that's true...I am sure the investors who you never told the whole story to that pulled out will be curious to know why they weren't told the whole/true story...

Yeah that is quite a curious situation indeed. Praytell Timmay.

Yes there is such thing...tim sykes.

tim not a word from you about Oprah. Someone PM'd me that you made a big deal that you would be on Oprah. I guess your silence speak volumes:D :D

Now that I know your "story", I'm sure you'll spin this failure too.
