Will Trump Supporting College Grads Be Able To Get Jobs?

This is a very real question.
People put their lives out there for the world to see on FB....and employers look.
Smart kids will be smart enough to know not to post anything political, but what bothers me is this is squelching free speech. A new form of discrimination. Its wrong, but I'll bet a million dollars its gonna be real.
Two candidates go to an interview... one hates Trump, the other is a big supporter; both equally qualified. Which one will get the job now? Safe bet the non-Trump candidate.

And therein lies another win for the elite powers that be. Right or wrong... a masterful play.

Most people don't care about your politics unless your politics is WAY out there or contrary to the firms objectives.
40+MM people voted for Trump. They didn't lose their jobs.

But it's bad for business to have someone who hates all other religions and races in the office. It's also bad for business to have a whackjob liberal who wants to bring the system down.

If you want to talk about Trump and college grads, consider the student loan foregiveness programs that Trump wants to kill.

Good question. Now Trump has many businesses : would a non-Trump supporter be hired ?

What I am actually wondering is your overseas Army recruit. It was my understanding that
the USA had in views to send quiet a few people to invade and occupy some foreign lands in
the Middle East, Africa ( with the new founded Africom), and was considering extending
its army bases in Asia. Now : how would this "Charlottesville" going to convince overseas
people that it is a good idea to let any US army stuff in their land ?
Already, people who had doubt about North Korea leader, are now starting to praise
his nuclear armement decision.

This is not speculative. It has been going on for a long time. In big law firms for example, a lot of the interviewing/hiring process is handled by young associate lawyers, most of whom are heavily indoctrinated PC thugs. Any candidate with a background showing Christian beliefs, or heaven forbid conservative political leanings, will be blackballed. Then their web sites brag about their commitment to diversity.

It's the same in government. Any applicant to be a lawyer at the DOJ who showed membership in any conservative group would be blackballed. I am quite certain it continues today.

AAA : I'd have thought that those with real ( and I mean real) Christian beliefs would be on the fast lane, as they'd avoid bringing in soooo many problems as they have very good fundamental values.
But then it's just an opinion.

The 40+MM doesn't really address the issue going forward though.
8 months ago seems like a lifetime at this point.
I'm talking about new entries into the job market at Fortune 500 companies.
I think it matters. Would you post a picture of yourself on FB in a MAGA hat if you wanted a job at Google or Apple? I sure as hell wouldn't. :D

I seriously doubt they care unless your beliefs are extremely strong or extremely vocal. And that goes in both directions.

I think it'll be OK as long as they don't bring statues.

imo, a boss would most likely appoint someone who has an open/inclusive mindset and lovely/positive-thinking/peaceful employee for some positions that need to interface external secular world, such as sales/marketing/communications staff, reception/delivery/counter-sales/driver/estate-sales/, etc.

Furthermore, afaik, many senior executives engaged in legal/accounting/finance/investment/PR/etc work are heavily engaged in business development activities daily. In order to promote his business and deal with a diverse range of potential customers. Including Muslims, Asians, ME clients, whatever/wherever background potential customers visiting his business/shop.

Otherwise, losing goodwill or bad image would kill the business, fairly easily. Because, competitors would help promoting their opponents' bad images. Word-of-mouth would bring in more business.

It's hard, very hard, today we can see any shop or office would post a note stating that we don't like to have this or that kind of people coming in for shopping/visiting.

Therefore, the answer could be very simple. Perhaps! :)
