quick question :

will tradestation close my trading a/c if i file for bankruptcy.chapter 7. I .have 25k in this account and daytrade
futures only. been with them for abt 4 yrs now..

If you are trading futures through TradeStation, your account is at R.J. O'Brien. Another IB will probably take over the assets. I do not see any TRAD news?

I believe if he meant if HE filed bankruptcy, not Tradestation.

Just exactly are you trying to accomplish? If you file chapter 7 your $25k account will be part of the assets not protected from creditors unless it is in a retirement account.
