Will Post Resistance and Support Every Day For ES

After 2.30 pm EST none of this R/S numbers are valid. I don't trade after 2.30 pm. I like to see these nubers probed before 11 AM EST or 2 PM EST
 
Today 1268 trade got stopped out -3 points.

1266 trade Best I could get was 3.25 points.

Mkt probed down to 1265 then rellied to 1269.50 around 12.01 pm.

Overall for today only up .25 point.
 
July 25, 2008 9.30 Numbers for ES:

Resistance at 1266.00 and Support at 1243.25.

If any of this numbers are touched before 11 am EST then they could be faded.

Resistance at 1270 .75 and Support at 1245.00.

Friday was very slow volume and ovrall range was lower than average.

Non of the Resistance or Support numbers were touched.
No potential trading opportunites were available today.

For the week:

Total of 3 trades 2 wins and one loss for total point gain of 12 .50 points

On trend day R/S numbers are not effective. 1 Trade at 1245 got stopped out. Loss of 3 point.

If you know that R/S #'s are not effective on trend days, why didn't you either not take the trade or, do the opposite of what you'd normally do for a range bound day?

It doesn't make sense to see a trend day, yet still make the same trades you would on a range day.
