Isn't that racist to ban travelers from so many african countries? There are quite a few black people in Africa last I knew.

It’s probably already here in the U.S. The most likely location is Florida which is the center of circulation for most new variants in the U.S. Keep in mind that the state of Florida does not test for, track or publish variant information- we are wholly dependent on sampling from private test labs for any variant information in Florida. The other possible locations are international points of entry with high travel volumes like New York.
