Hey everyone...just to divert my thoughts little bit because getting too much in trading...and i have some free time in office right now...
Why do we say that we are taking money from other traders... ??
Very basic question..I mean if the pool is very small and only traders are trading then yes we are taking money away from other traders..but let say in case of EUR/USD , some producer in Europe needs USD, while some one in US needs to have EURO to buy stuff from Europe , so will sell usd and buy EUR...so you know bigger economic level money movements..
now we ( traders) comes in picture and we are just trying to fit in this cycle right....trader who does not get on the right side of movement get crushed..but even me as a trader, if gets some money out of this up/down movement ...i am acting as intermediary for some producer and consumer...as a trader i am just helping them to reach there selling / buying price..or if there are no other traders present..and i am the lone trader..then some time i will act as producer some times as consumer...right...so why do we say that we are getting money from other traders...
i can understand in case of stocks...because i think its limited supply...like small number of young people putting in money ..and some retires pulling out the money...from stock market..so movement is small...and all traders are competing to get that action...but in case of currency i think this should not be the case...
