It's a 50/50 shot but why are you worried? Do you really think it's going to bounce off of 10 and go straight to the moon... after a de-listing no less?

Not worried. Just curious what people thought about it.

Been in this situ before with a shitrack of illiquid call shorts, though and did NOT want to get assigned, so it is more relevant at times.

Never really looked into auctions, so I don't grok the details.

Okay, I just an article on it. Doesn't sound useful for small traders, only institutions, so far as I can tell.

Yes it should be in TWS. You should be able to see all details of this stock just like any others. The fact that it's OTC shouldn't really matter. The only thing is it just got delisted so if you pull up a chart with this stock, you won't see much price info.

I was curious how the OCC would handle automatic exercise of an OTC stock. Normally an option is automatically exercised if it is .01 in the money at expiration based on the closing price on the stocks primary exchange, which is normally determined though a closing auction on that exchange.

For a stock like CRRCF, which is traded on the OTC, there will be no closing auction. So, I contacted the OCC and they responded that the last price trade is what is used. Here that last price occurred several hours before the close. And last price trade may not reflect the current market as well. Thought this was interesting, learned something and thought others would be interested.

Wow, the last price trade? So if the security didn't trade for several days, then it's whatever the price that it traded several days ago on that they use for assignment?? That's a LOT of risk!! There must not be a lot of strikes and the difference between the different strike prices must be huge!! TOS is not even showing an IV for the Dec. 16, 2022 expiration.
