It has been some years since I last traded with IB or anyone for that matter. I was flagged for day trading last time but this time I opened the account with only 20K so..... I would like to not have any problems until I can raise at least another 10K.
In the past I traded both stocks and then got into the dow futures. Can you verify whether if I am buying and selling futures contracts, does the buying and selling of these contracts constitute pattern day trading? Any recommendations to stay out of trouble? Thanks.
