As long as you are a "persecuted" religion, then you get a free pass, like homies when they say "Nigger" or "Cracker". Mooselimbs can stone one gay after another and it is not nearly as bad as some white, rich, gun-toting Christian dude saying anything remotely critical of gays, according to the libtards.
It's never been about racism or religious intolerance. It's always and only been about grabbing power.
Same goes for them, but they are not 80% of the population , or whatever Christians are in the US.
The fact that another delusional group of people are worse than the deluded Christians does not absolve them of their ignorant, bigoted ways.
The future of America is scary. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, criticizing a protected group can result in civil case being brought against the person and them having to pay restitution. In many countries, eg Europe and Canada, you can be prosecuted for "hate speech." In the US, your rights are perhaps theoretically greater, but in a practical sense they are very limited. If a rich Tv star like this Duck guy can be fired, how do you think they deal with ordinary workers or execs who stray from the approved line?
What Phil said was stupid. Anyone with a job in the public eye knows you can't make an ass out of yourself or say racist things without the chance of getting into trouble at work. Did all of you forget the part about blacks? Remember Charlie Sheen, even entertainers like Sheen and Robertson have a limit on what they can get away with. He fucked up, he knows that now. If he's smart he'll figure out a way to apologize and milk the show out for a few more years if not oh well another entertainer down the drain. Who gives a fuck anyway.
