Will Duck Dynasty Be The Tipping Point Of PC?

Duck Dynasty should send a camouflage-colored combination double dildo/duck call to GLAAD as a thank you for all the free publicity.
 
No, it's not a radical idea for a Christian to think homosexuality is a sin and is in the same category with bestiality. This kind of ignorance and delusion is common among them and is to be expected. But when such ignorance and bigotry rears it's head, it's proper for the more educated, tolerant and non-bigoted people in the country to smack it back down into the pit of excrement from which it comes.
 
A&E has every right to decided what's aired on their network, just as Phil has every right to voice his own personal opinion. Somewhere in the mix I'm sure is a legal contract between DD and A&E outlining these matters, one side or the other has overstepped the line.

Since DD inception, A&E has tried to muzzle the cast and content of the show. Everyone who tunes into the show understands the Christian background of the shows members... It's funny red-neck antics, no cussing, no sex, family oriented, which always ends with the family around the dinner table and prayer... Which is refreshing to see in todays tv programming.

A&E can do what ever they feel is in their best interest and wishes of their owners. But the gate swings both ways, DD should stand tall in thier principles, if A&E doesn't like it, Im sure other networks will be more than happy happy happy $$$ to accomodate Phil and his Family.

I for one will boycot A&E if they continue.

This should tell you a little something about where the hearts of the A&E network executives are. After indefinitely suspending Phil Robertson yesterday for voicing his Christian beliefs about homosexuality, the network is planning a prime-time marathon of...wait for it...Duck Dynasty reruns over the next several days. The show will air around 50 times between now and the day after Christmas.

So, A&E wants Phil Robertson to shut up about his faith, but they’re content to continue making millions of dollars off of his show. What a bunch of phony outrage! It’s liberal hypocrisy at it’s finest.

This story is a really good example of how the radical left censors thought and speech. You take a 67 year old guy, born and raised in the deep south, lived his entire life in the deep south, self proclaimed bible thumper, self proclaimed redneck... and they feign shock at his answer about homosexuality and race relations?
They, the left, ask the loaded question and when you don't answer to their liking, you're crucified for stating your personal experiences and beliefs. Tolerance is a one way street with the left, their way.
Listen, what this guy said, especially about blacks in the cotton fields, was laugh out loud, shake your head at the ignorance of it all experience, but please A&E, don't pretend to be shocked and appalled given the fact that you knew who he was when you hired the guy.

Notice how all the rightards here want to make this about free speech while telling only half the story.

Let's inject some facts:

• Phil Robinson is not The Star of Duck Dynasty. It's an ensemble cast but if anybody is the star, it's Phil's son Willie. Willie's brother Jase and Uncle Si get more airtime than Phil, at least during the first two seasons.

• Phil didn't just disapprove of homosexuality, he harkened back to Santorum by comparing it to bestiality.

• Phil said Black Americans were happier before civil rights. Yeah cuz all folks just love having their rights denied once they get used to it.

• Being fired from a reality TV show is not a violation of your free speech. The First Amendment protects you from the government, it doesn't mean your ass can't get fired for acting or talking like an idiot.
 
Also, he wasn't even fired. Just suspended, AFAIK
