A big problem in America is, is that some black people hate white people therefore we have idiotic movements like BLM (which has been hijacked by a lot of other groups). Now yes, slavery was disgusting as hell. BUT, that was hundreds of years ago. Most people have gotten over it. But a few have not gotten over it. We need to figure out how to help those who have not gotten over it so we can move forward as a society. Otherwise, this will go on for hundreds of more years.

The government needs to setup free counselling centers across the US.
For both the guilty whites and traumatised blacks.
The current white generation should not feel guilty for what their ancestors did 100s of years ago. (My guess is most dont but the constant bringing up of the topic by the left has probably made many of the whites feel guilty).
And some blacks seem to still need help dealing with the history of the horrors of that horrible period.

Yes. I think a lot of whites who are in the crowds of the BLM riots are maybe feeling guilty for being white. Or they have been brainwashed in college that racism is worse than it really is.
I read the other day that the slavery ordeal is now going to be taught to kindergarten children in the US. I don't think this is a good idea. All it would do is keep the memories alive (bad ones) for ever. Maybe it is part of the leftist agenda, I don't know. :-(
