%%ai is as silly as the people who believe it can be applied to a dynamic market. ai is a close relative of curve fitting it can not learn, it can only curve fit the past.
I use auto drawn moving averages, but that proves your point 'cause the same,200 dma is different on different charts. LOL

There was a study done years ago ( I think I read about it in Market Wizards ) where the best traders had an IQ of 130-160. So, in human terms, being super smart >160, was a detriment.
This is off-topic and I wanted to ask you in a message but there doesn't seem to be a messaging option for you: You said in another post a couple years ago, "I know guys who have made $2000/week trading bonds with sub $100k accounts for the last 20 years. They just can't make the leap to the next level." Can I be the noob and ask "how"? What types of trades/trading systems are they using, etc.? Not asking for the secret sauce, just the generics. It's not about systems or charts. Some guys are willing to stare at a screen all day and eventually notice every little nuance about a product. It could be algo selling every Thursday at 1:15 or or a huge seller every roll. They will front these orders every time until they stop working. Figuring out ways to take advantage of stops also plays a big part in their trading.
They don't think in terms of cheap or expensive or bullish or bearish. They just go with what works. And because they don't hold any strong opinions they never blow up. When the pain becomes too big, they get out.

I have noticed a gradual increase in few patterns taken in my models, have one pattern that was not there 30 years ago(perhaps it was to those who could afford advanced software then) but unless one is scalping-does not affect emotional flow. I enjoy studying tick data crammed a bit together next to five minute chart in ES at S/R. But overall, except for occasional extra slippage, same old to me.
I followed Al for the last ten years.....it was like chasing a mirage.....that is because price action is incomplete unless you consider time [action ?]

it does not matter if the decisions to buy or sell are taken by algos or by traders or women or monkeys...the markets will reflect thatNear-sighted now, wait till they tweak these algos to become more sophisticated.
In the AI scenario, it seems unlikely that there will be a single AI generated algo. Different traders, and different firms, will use their own choice of AI weapons. So AI generated algo's will battle each other, each desperately looking for some kind of edge, or differentiator, to maximize profits.
Sound familiar ? The more things change ...... the more they stay the same ??
And as that unfolds, it seems likely that humans will see patterns in price action, and trade to their advantage.
