Very good article, thanks for the link. Probably dovetails nicely into the observance that ADD/ADHD people are so creative, and at the some time somewhat impulsive.

I am not sure if that is creatively impulsive or impulsively creative. Either way, robust backtested system trading is the cure. Bitch Market seems to be impulsive, but if you look at her statistically, as you should with all women, you can get her number.

Gotta agree there! My Wife has more shoes than Amelda Marcos ever had (help!:eek: ), and Italian made Stiletto's are in the mix. Lol!

When I was a kid growing up in New Orleans, I used to see the old Italian Switchblades being sold at a large flea market my parents took us to so they could buy sugar cane, fresh vegetables, seafood, etc,. The guys selling the Italian stiletto knives used to let me fire one open now and then, but I didn't have the $15 dollars at age eight to buy one. (Now those same pieces are going for $150-$180.)

I gathered up tossed .10c return 16oz glass soda bottles, and ran a weed eater splitting the $ with the older kids. Finally bought one, and have been collecting the silly things ever since. Lol!

I had one years ago I bought in Paris, but someone passing through the house stole it. Illegal in Texas now, so intruders are just going to have to settle for getting shot.

I tend not to complain to my wife about her shoes, as long as she occasionally parades around naked in them.

Agreed 100%! I don't complain to my wife about the shoes. It could be worse, and be something like high end jewelry. Lol!

Btw, go to a flea market this spring in Texas. Find some guys selling knives, and ask if they have any stilettos. You should be able to get one @ a reasonable price. They're nice collectibles, but FAR from carry knives despite what the movies portray them as.

A Kimber 1911 .45 and a cold steel tanto knife is what I'd consider carry worthy, and good home protection.

You are inded a connoissewer of guns. Alas, my dainty hands and delicate ears do not permit me to fondle 45s. And besides, it would not fit well in the SmartCarry which is my preferred holster. As to a knife backup, if I have a spare pocket, it gets a New York reload.
