I would have liked to seen a military tribunal try him and execute him under the rule of law. That is the kind of stuff that makes me proud to be an American.
Otto Ohlendorf, Commander of SS Einsatzgruppen D, was responsible for 90,000 murders. The International Tribunal gave him a fair hearing with a defense lawyer, found him guilty and sentenced him to hanging.
I don't understand why people don't see the value in that. There is a lot of hypocrisy in the world, but I think it speaks well of a nation when it applies it's moral principles the best way it can.
I would like to have seen a trial.
