Why would anyone go long C

28+ billion outstanding shares, -EPS etc..

Unless I am missing something, is there a hidden gem in the balance sheet that makes C a bargain at 4.

I like Cigar Butt stocks like anyone else (ie GE was a great cigar butt stock in the single digits) but I do not see C being a good cigar butt stock.

Everyone and their mother is saying C is the bargain of the lifetime. but I would like to know if I am missing something, I cannot see anything on the balance sheet or the franchise that says C is a steal at 4 dollars.

Climbing a wall of worry is not a valid reason.

I guess we talk to different people. Everyone I speak with has been gloom & doom'y about C for the past year.
