This is why the scientist uses evidence as his guide rather than faith. The human mind that uses emotion as its basis of truth can easily be fooled but the person that uses his mind to validate the evidence that is presented to him is not easily fooled.

...and the evidence he uses is what? Scientists have opinions too and often come to conclusions based on their own bias.

The scientists views each and every result of his experiments through another instrument, the human mind. The human mind which is deeply flawed, inconsistent, fallible, limited, and always in a state of flux.

I can understand not wanting to question your own instrumentation, which is so intimate to the actual process.

So you have faith in your own mind.

Okay, fine by me.

Enjoy your own religion. In essence you have placed human mind as god for you, something that is taken on full faith without question.

Doesn't answer why the need to attack and question the beliefs and faiths of others.
