I would say some theists are like that, yes.

Some are not.

I see just as much dogmatism and lack of acceptance on these threads about God from atheists toward theists as I see dogmatism and lack of acceptance from theists toward atheists.

Those souls who are continually aware of how much they are actually fallen are so happy and grateful to be walking at all, that they have no axe to grind against those who walk with a limp, or with crutches, or who are sitting on their bums.

ZZzzz why are you always so very angry about my position on these things. All you ever seem to be able to do is make abusive remarks and personal attacks in response to anything I post. Is this some sort of passing the blame for your own resentment piss and vigor onto me in order to try and justify the fact that you cannot respond in a civil manner, let alone hold any civil discourse.

You are terribly confused, happens with people who are so influenced by unresolved childhood issues, sorry for you.

Please seek some remedy, so that you don't have to consistently display your axe grinding in these threads about God...

Learn to accept other faiths.

I accept your atheistic faith, and have no problem with it. I believe in freedom of belief and thought, whatever that belief may be. I even agree that some theists do harm in their attempts to convert others to their belief systems.

Why are you unable to do the same?

I am not the only one who sees some of the atheists here just as fundamentalist, dogmatic, and unaccepting as some theists...

There was no apology at all, just a recognition and acknowledgement of your feelings stemming from unresolved childhood wounding and the problems it creates in adult life. You are probably like many who rebelled against parental or societal religious training, but maybe it is time you got over the anger, eh?

Your denial must be very intense and sufficiently necessary for normal functioning to twist the above comments into suggesting the childhood wounding I have been discussing is mine, not yours...

That is generally what happens in the most damaged though, they simply cannot handle the reality of their own wounding, so when their wounding is pointed out, the way I have done with yours, the wounded adult child, filled with anger and resentments, projects their own wounds onto the one who is threatening their denial, in this case, your attempt to imagine my comments were about me, and not you...

Help is available though, should you seek it out. There are plenty of success stories of folks just like you, bitter and angry at religion over their childhood wounds and failures at theism, who have come to a level of acceptance where they don't need to make the theists wrong in order to maintain their own atheistic belief systems...

Reasonable enough to presume it is your 'wounding' as you seem to have so much to say on the subject and were the one to first mention it , only after saying you were sorry about what you thought were my feelings.
Are you so angry because these threads highlight just how religion might not be the thing you thought it was supposed to be?
