I don't see the Gay marriage thing as a civil rights issues. They're trying very hard to equate their "plight" with that of Black people. They have a very weak case. They're free to do anything they want. Why is it that their main "problem" is emulating a heterosexual institution ?
Marriage is NOT a right. Marriage is a HETEROSEXUAL social institution.
Fags can create their own little thing and call it "faggiage" or sthg. I assure you no heterosexuals would start protests over getting "that right"

It doesn't affect my life per se, but I do have a problem with institutionalizing immoral behavior. However, you missed the point of the thread completely. The point was Gay activists won't accept the verdict of the ballot and engage in campaigns of hate and intimidation directed at the Mormon church/ Blacks that will eventually backfire. The people have spoken and the people said NO.

Why should they accept something that is unjust. "Where there is Democracy two wolves and a lamb get to vote on what's for diner. Where there is Liberty a well armed lamb strongly protests the election" Btw, I don't read this as entirely as a thought in support of the 2nd amendment, though certainly it is that. It also refers to the courts, the rights to protest etc. All three are important, though obviously in this case guns don't have too much business being involved unless your an old lady who is being assaulted by thugs.

It's easy to repackage this thing as a tyrrany of the majority, it's not. Again, Marriage is not a right. it's a social institution.
What about teenagers suing for their "right" to qualify for AARP membership.
