Why was this person tested for Covid?

The lady had no signs of Covid, she was 124 years old when she died. It makes absolutely no sense to test her for Covid.

We know Covid tests yield a lot of false positives, so it is entirely possible, a 124 year old who died, who did not have Covid, has a false positive tests, then gets added to the Covid stats sheet.

This practice is going on routinely and has lead to a gross inflation of these 'Covid Deaths'.

(NEXSTAR) – A Filipino woman believed to be the oldest person in the world has died at age 124.

Lola Francisca Susano died early Monday evening, according to the city of Kabankalan, in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines.

“It is with sadness in our heart when we received the news that our beloved Lola Francisca Susano passed away,” the city government posted on Facebook. “Her official declaration as the oldest person in the world at 124 years old is currently validated by the Guinness World Records.”

CNN Philippines reported that her cause of death has yet to be determined, according to city public information officer Jake Carlyne Gonzales, who said Susano will be tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday though she reportedly was not showing any symptoms of the virus.

Could you just cop on for once? A friend here's wife underwent heart transplant surgery which is obviously a major surgery with risk but she had a cluster of strokes that is so uncommon none of the doctors had ever seen it.

A working theory, and just a theory, right now is that she had asymptomatic covid weeks or months earlier however the virus created clots which stick around and were released on restarting her heart when taken off bypass. There's a bit of a kick to the venous system when this happens, normally it isn't a problem.

Asymptomatic does not mean does nothing so its worthwhile checking just to know and I'm sure rule out covid involvement.

Anyone who lives to 124 is an extraordinary person physically. Everyone who lives to that age is of intense interest to science.

People at her age, super-geriatrics have very special biology so knowing if there were any additional factors is normal enquiry.

"Super geriatrics" have in a sense aged past ordinary diseases through resistance we don't yet fully grasp though much of it seems to be just not over reacting to infections like bats do.

It has been found recently they share a common and fairly unique gut bacteria/microbiota. In a decade we will probably all be getting the newest thing in gut flora based on this.

Covid is a novel, aka new virus so it has some chance of affecting them differently to other viruses. So you test to know. Now I have answered the question a six year old would ask, I'm going for a walk
