If Jack weren't here I would be reduced to mocking the preening fatuosity of newbies. He is ultimately a much more satisfying target because he has the intellectual horsepower and life experience to be able fight back.

Oh, my. Hypostomus, it appears some esteemed members believe that you and I, along with a few other lost souls, are in need of therapy and counseling. I suppose that medication may also be indicated, due to the passing reference to psychosis. Do you think that Dr. Deco would be willing to look into the matter? No doubt, his schedule is a busy one, so I propose group counseling in order to accommodate the good doctor. And since we, the infirmed, are geographically dispersed, a group counseling thread may be in order.

I have no doubt that you are correct. However, I am puzzled by your use of the word "sound." Do you hear him often, and are you listening to him in the background at this very moment?
